I have been working in pottery for about 30 years. During that time, I have had the opportunity to study ceramics in Japan. I also have received a Bachelors and Masters Degree specialising in ceramics from St. Cloud State University, in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
All pottery is hand thrown on a potters wheel and fired to cone 10, about 2400 degrees. I use stoneware clay and produce functional items, which are great for everyday use. You will notice that most of my items have a heavier rim, this is to prevent the item from chipping.
My working studio is located on 80 acres in central Minnesota near the town of Long Prairie. If you are ever in the area, please stop by.
